Trip
29th August 2008
Was away for 2 nights & 3 days, but felt too long to be away from all the animals. I kept thinking if they were okay while I was gone.
When I arrived home, I was glad to see no animals had escaped, none had run out of food, and best of all, the chinnies looked excited when I saw them
The chins had 2 opportunities to play outside of their cages; in the afternoon & at night. For dinner, I made all the hammies their favorite: scrambled egg with tofu yum yum!
During the trip, I saw this & was so tempted to pick some to bring home for Tubby ..

but nnnooo! I was in a national park & I’m pretty sure picking on the park’s plant can lead to some fines (Note: those are pinecones, which I can wash & dry in the oven as treats for the chinnies).
Overall, it was a good trip .. enjoyed the views. Here are a couple:

Wow, gorgeous pics! Where did you go for your trip?
I had no idea hammies can have eggs & tofu! Seems like we learn quite a lot of new things from each other’s blogs, huh?
I wish buns were like chins and don’t need mani-pedi’s! They’re never happy when its time for a nail trim, lol!

wowwee, those are some lovely photos! Did you go in the big bath? I would be scared getting my paws wet!
Mama got me a pine cone, I wasn’t interested at all!

I went to Lake Michigan, which borders the US & Canada. Hammies looovee eggs (hard-boiled or scrambled). Of course I didn’t put any salt or pepper, & only little oil. Some chinnies need mani-pedi .. Like Winnie’s nails are soo sharp, but I don’t have the heart to trim them
