Dee is still a beautiful & adorable hamster in my eyes :)
==

Regarding your qn about the wet foods I feed my hammies, the fruits I have fed before include blueberries (they like), half a grape, wolfberries (their fave!) half a cherry tomato, pear, apple, strawberries etc ...

For vegetables and other fresh foods, they like corn cob, broccoli, watercress, pea shoots, spinach, alfafa sprouts, bean sprouts, non-gmo tofu, carrot, cucumbers, cheddar cheese etc...

I also sprinkle some wheatgerm, flax seeds, muesli and grains as a 'salad topping' or in their dry mix.

For campbells, you have to avoid sweet foods such as corn and carrot. Some foods such as broccoli and spinach, as well as the 'wetter foods' such as cherry tomatoes, should be fed in smaller quantities and in moderation (like every alternate day instead of daily). Hope this helps ;)

Oh, the poor thing! I hope it's a birth defect too.. it would have hurt a lot if it was from a battle wound! It's really nice of you to help this old lady out :)
