We’ll See ..
10th October 2008
Another quick Barium x-ray this morning. The x-ray picture was more promising today than yesterday’s. The vet said that she could see nicely formed poops in the x-ray picture and the poops look bigger than the small hard bead-sized ones that have been coming out of Winnie. The vet also felt Winnie’s tummy this morning, which was much less gassy than how it was yesterday. So, we’ll see this weekend how Winnie is doing with the pineapple juice, which I have a feeling has something to do with the bigger poop & the less gassy tummy
I really do hope that we won’t have to go ahead with the surgery .. not only that it’s dangerous for Winnie, but it’s also dangerous for my wallet T.T

That’s good news… hope treatment is possible without operation =)

I’m so glad to hear that Winnie’s having more normal-looking poops! We’re keeping our fingers crossed for the pineapple juice to work wonders this weekend
Right now, I don’t know yet how often Hans will need to have his incisors trimmed. Normally, rabbits’ teeth grow 2-3mm/week but the rate will differ with each rabbit. I’ll have to monitor the length of his incisors and bring him to the vet when it gets too long.

Your last sentence made me lol. Hahaha, yeah it really burns a big hole on the pocket.
I sent 3 hammies for ops and the bills almost landed me into eating hamster food instead of human food for a month! Very expensive. (T.T) I understand your situation Ippo. (T.T)

How’s Winnie today?? We hope our prayers for healthy poop worked
I brush the bunnies to remove loose fur, but since they’re short-haired bunnies, I don’t need to trim their fur.. which is a good thing. They certainly wouldn’t sit still for a trim!
